Server requirements for the network version

The network installation of Design-Expert requires a file server and occupies a little over 40 MB of disk space. It includes a client installer that optionally loads various components on to the client's workstation. The client setup can be as simple as a shortcut to the network location to a full install the program executables.

The server has a shared control folder containing semaphores that track network usage. Clients will need read/write access to the control folder. Some configuration scenarios are described in the following document:
